Statement of Beliefs

We Are Dedicated to Helping God’s Children Discover His Love

We are dedicated to helping people discover:

·  God is the perfect Father that we have always dreamed of

·  God does not stoop to intimidation and coercion

·  God gives freedom of choice to all of His children

·  God honors people's choices ultimately letting people choose their own eternal fate

People were created in the image of God each with our own unique identity.

Just as the members of the Godhead live in other centered relationship with each other--Jesus reveals the Father, the Father glorifies Jesus and the Holy Spirit speaks to us of Jesus' words--we were created to serve each other in other centered love. Other centered love is the trademark of God.

Selfishness and all it's traits-- including force and coercion are not from God but are the trademark of God's enemy.

The human dilemma on this earth is that humans have been infected with lies about God as manifested by God’s enemy, Satan. The result of those lies is a lost relationship with God which result in selfishness and rebellion to God. The antidote to this condition is love and understanding God’s pure love as manifested by Jesus Christ.

We Believe. . .

  • The Bible as the inspired word of God, is a reliable revelation of God. (2 Tim. 3:16)

  • God is love. (1 John 4:8). His character of love is the foundation of His government and the law of love is the principle upon which all life in the universe is designed to operate.

  • Sin at its core is selfishness-- the very opposite of God’s character of love.

  • Sin originated with Satan, who exhibited honor to self instead of God. (Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:13-19)

  • Satan told Eve and Adam lies about God. Believing Satan’s lies, caused Adam and Eve (and all mankind) to became sinful and selfish. (Genesis 3)

  • All are destined to die without following God’s law of love because the wages paid by  sin is death. (Romans 6:23)

  • God prepared a way to win humans back to His truth through the life of Jesus Christ. (John 3:16)

  • Jesus Christ, the Son of God is fully God, He is the exact representation of the Father. (Hebrews 1:1-3)

  • Jesus is the Creator. He is equal in majesty, authority and divinity with the Father (John 1, John 14:9-11, Heb 1:1-3, Col 1:16).

  • The Father sent Jesus to join His divinity with our humanity in order to reach sinful man with God’s saving love and grace. (John 3:16,17)

  • Jesus was tempted in every way just like we are, yet He lived a perfect sinless life. (Hebrews 4:15)

  • Jesus freely surrendered Himself to death-- triumphing over sin and death. (1 Corinthinas 15:20-22)

  • Jesus rose from the dead and is now at the right hand of the Father, ever interceding along with the Father and the Holy Spirit to win God’s runaway children back to the heart of God. (Romans 8:33-34, Romans 8:36, Deuteronomy 6:4)

  • The Father loves us as much as Jesus. (John 16:26,27, John 3:16)

  • There is no salvation in any other except through Jesus Christ.(Acts 4: 12)

  • The Holy Spirit is Christ’s representative on earth administering all the benefits achieved by Jesus to those who trust in God and interceding for us with groanings when we have no words. (John 16:7-15, Romans 8:26)

  • Jesus will come again, literally, visibly, with His angels for every eye to see Him. (Revelation 1:7)

  • When He comes, Jesus will wake up the dead who choose to live out His law of love. (2 Thessalonians 4:15-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55)

  • He will ultimately put an end to sin and restore this earth to its Eden-like beauty. There will be no more sickness, sorrow, crying or pain because sin and all it’s results will be vanquished. (Revelation 21:1-5)

  • Sadly, those who chose selfishness and lies over love, will be eventually destroyed in God’s presence—not as a revengeful and punishing act, but as an act of God’s mercy.  (Revelation 20:11-15, Romans 1:18-32, Hosea 11:8, Ezekiel 3:11)

  • God's loving character is a consuming fire to those who are full of sin. (Hebrews 12:29, Song of Solomon 8:6,7, Psalm 68:2, )

  • Only those who live with-in God’s law of unselfish love will remain to live out eternity with God forever. (Hosea 33:14-16)

  • The Seventh-day Sabbath is the ultimate example of the freedom that God has granted to His children—a day where no one is required to work either in taking care of physical lives, nor in preserving our own salvation. The Sabbath is a reminder that just as we could not create ourselves in the first place, we also cannot recreate ourselves. By taking the time on the Sabbath day to contemplate what God has done for us, we enter into a communion with God so He can finish the work He began in us. (Exodus 20:8-11, Hebrews 4:9-11)
